Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter - 3 tbls minced onion - 1/4 cup flour - 4 cups 1/2 & 1/2 - 1/2 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp pepper - 2 tsp worcestershire - 1/4 tsp paprika - dash of old bay seasoning - 1 lb crabmeat - 2 hard-cooked eggs finely chopped - sherry

Method

  • melt butter in dutch oven over lo heat - add onion - cook over med heat, stirring constantly, 5 mins or until tender - whisk in flour until smooth - cook 1 min - whisk constantly - gradually whisk in 1/2 & 1/2 - cook over med heat, whisking constantly until thick & bubbly - stir in salt & next 6 ingred - add sherry to tast
