Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Onion, Chopped Finely
  • 1 can (6 Oz. Size) Lump Crab, Drained Well
  • 1 package (8 Ounce Package) Cream Cheese, Softened To Room Temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley Flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 18 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • 13 cups Shredded Colby-jack Cheese
  • 3/4 cups Pecans, Chopped

Method

  • In a medium sized bowl mix together all the ingredients except the pecans, mixing until smooth and well combined.
  • Form this into a ball, place it on a plate and place into the fridge to let it firm up a bit (20-30 minutes).
  • Remove it from the fridge and roll in the pecans or pat the pecans into the cheese ball until it is completely covered.
  • Makes approximately six 1/2 cup servings.
