Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crab meat
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, mashed
  • 12 saltine crackers, mashed fine
  • 2 raw eggs
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • dash of red pepper (optional)
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • shrimp (1 lb., optional)

Method

  • Mix all ingredients well and beat in hot water.
  • Place in a greased casserole dish or crab shells.
  • Sprinkle with cracker crumbs.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until lightly brown. Serves 5 or 6.
