Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crab meat, flaked and picked over, or 1 1/2 lb. salmon, cod or other fish (3 c.)
  • 1 c. fresh bread
  • 1/4 c. minced green onions
  • 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. unflavored dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Method

  • Combine all except last 2 ingredients.
  • Spread dry breadcrumbs on waxed paper.
  • Shape mixture into 3-inch patties; cook 2 or 3 minutes per side.
