Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. ground thyme
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 large potatoes, cubed
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. crab substitute
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
Method
- In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Add celery and onion.
- Cook until tender.
- Stir in flour, thyme and pepper. Gradually add milk.
- Stir constantly.
- Add potatoes.
- Bring to boil.
- Simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add crab substitute.
- Heat 5 minutes more.
- Enjoy!
