Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vinegar

Method

  • Heat water to boiling; peel and dice potatoes.
  • Drop into boiling water to shock potatoes.
  • Cook until potatoes can be easily broken apart with a fork.
  • Drain off water.
  • Place kettle of potatoes back on ther burner and stir to remove all remaining moisture.
  • Be careful not to scorch.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Whip with mixer, adding butter and milk to desired consistency.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
