Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 c. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vinegar
Method
- Heat water to boiling; peel and dice potatoes.
- Drop into boiling water to shock potatoes.
- Cook until potatoes can be easily broken apart with a fork.
- Drain off water.
- Place kettle of potatoes back on ther burner and stir to remove all remaining moisture.
- Be careful not to scorch.
- Remove from heat.
- Whip with mixer, adding butter and milk to desired consistency.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
