Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. blueberries
- sugar (for sprinkling on top)
Method
- Grease muffin tins.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, beating well.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and vanilla.
- Crush 1/2 cup berries; add to batter.
- Fold in remaining berries.
- Spoon into muffin tin; sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 375°. Makes 12 to 24 muffins, depending on pans.
