Ingredients

  • 1 box raisins
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 pie shells
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • water

Method

  • Empty box of raisins in pan.
  • Cover with water and boil raisins until tender.
  • Place sugar, flour, vanilla and salt in bowl.
  • Add enough water to make paste.
  • Add the paste mixture to the tender raisins and bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour mixture into two uncooked pie shells; add a top crust and place in oven.
  • Cook until top crust is golden brown.
