Ingredients

  • 1 can (#303) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 pkg. lemon jello
  • 2 cartons cottage cheese
  • 2 pkg. dream whip
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries

Method

  • Mix pineapple, water sugar and jello; bring to a boil for one minute.
  • Put in large bowl until it starts to jell.
  • Add cottage cheese, dream whip, nuts and cherries; fold into mixture.
  • Grease a 9 x 12 pan with mayonnaise, and pour in ingredients.
  • Let sit 24 hours in refrigerator before serving.
