Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • black pepper

Method

  • In a large skillet, saute onions and peppers in margarine. Add flour and cook until golden brown.
  • Remove from heat; blend in milk, salt and dry mustard.
  • Return to heat; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add corn (drained) and egg (slightly beaten). Stir to blend.
  • Place in a baking dish; sprinkle paprika on top. Bake in 350° oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
