Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper sauce
  • 1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion

Method

  • Mix sugar, vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard seed and pepper sauce in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  • Microwave, uncovered, on High for 2 to 3 minutes or until boiling.
  • Stir.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 2 days to blend flavors.
