Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
Method
- Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls into deep hot oil (375°); fry only a few at a time, turning once. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
