Ingredients
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour*
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Method
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Mix butter, sugars and egg.
- Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; the dough will be stiff.
- Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto UNGREASED cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- The center will be soft.
- Cool slightly and eat.
