Ingredients

  • 1 can coconut cream
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup rum (preferably clear so the color doesnt interfere)
  • 1 condensed milk
  • 1 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 shreded coconut or candy cane crumbs
  • 1 dash powdered cinnamon or nutmeg

Method

  • Mix all ingredients in a blender.
  • Leave in refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Serve really cold but do not add ice.
  • You may discard the rum if you want, but the flavor wont be the same.
  • I would recommend reducing the amount.
  • If you have kids you should separate a part for them before you add the rum, and after you separate it, add rum (but according to how much is left).
  • FOR THE DECORATION!
  • With a cup, dip the tip/upper part with condensed milk and afterwards dip it in shredded coconut or candy cane crumbs (Just mash candy canes with a hammer).
  • After you pour the coquito, add a dash of cinnamon powder to add color, and if you want a cinnamon stick for decoration.
  • Your guests will be delighted!
