Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Method
- Measure sugar, cold water and unbeaten egg into top of double boiler.
- Place over rapidly boiling water and commence beating at once.
- Beat until light and fluffy and holds its shape, about 7 or 8 minutes.
- Remove from fire and continue beating until thick.
