Ingredients

  • 1 box jello (flavor depends on color you want)
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries, sliced
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • nuts (if desired)

Method

  • Mix together cream cheese, crushed pineapple, maraschino cherries after cheese is soft.
  • Dissolve jello in boiling water. Let cool to room temperance, then place in refrigerator or until consistency of egg white.
  • Add cream cheese mixture.
  • Stir well to get all cream cheese lumps out.
  • Add Cool Whip last.
  • Serves 6.
