- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 medium onions, crushed
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. prepared regular mustard
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can water
- 4 or 5 wieners
Method
- Combine everything except wieners and simmer until thick. Grind wiener and add to sauce.
- Stir.
- Cook 15 minutes longer. (Do not brown ground beef first.)
- If the sauce is a little thin, add a few crumbled soda crackers to the sauce.
- Makes 30 servings.
