Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, crushed
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared regular mustard
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can water
  • 4 or 5 wieners

Method

  • Combine everything except wieners and simmer until thick. Grind wiener and add to sauce.
  • Stir.
  • Cook 15 minutes longer. (Do not brown ground beef first.)
  • If the sauce is a little thin, add a few crumbled soda crackers to the sauce.
  • Makes 30 servings.
