Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. walnuts
  • 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. dried cranberries
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. butter softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 pie shell unbaked

Method

  • In a mixing bowl, combine nuts and fruit with vinegar; let stand.
  • Cream together butter and sugar; add eggs, vanilla and spices, beat well. Stir in nut and fruit mixture into batter. Turn into an unbaked pie shell, bake at 400° for 35 minutes.
