Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 2 (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • butter

Method

  • Cook noodles according to directions.
  • Brown together the meat, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper.
  • Add the cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese and tomato sauce.
  • Simmer this mixture 1/2 hour.
  • Alternate layer of noodles and meat mixture in baking dish and dot with butter.
  • Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
  • Serves 10.
