Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 c. cranberries
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 c. chopped apples

Method

  • Combine 1 cup water, sugar and cranberries in a saucepan; bring just to boil.
  • Remove from heat; cover and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Combine 1 cup boiling water and jello; stir until dissolved.
  • Add 1 cup cold water, cranberry mixture and lemon juice; chill until partially congealed.
  • Fold in remaining ingredients; chill until firm.
