Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavor

Method

  • Beat margarine and shortening until smooth and shiny.
  • Add sugar gradually and continue to beat until very smooth and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating after each one.
  • Add flour and baking powder alternating with the milk.
  • Add flavorings.
  • Pour into 10-inch greased Bundt pan.
  • Put in cold oven.
  • Bake at 325°. Remove from pan while warm.
