Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 3 c. flour (plain or all-purpose)
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream (pour directly from container, do not whip)
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add flour and whipping cream alternately. Blend well after each addition.
- Pour into well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and place in cold oven.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until done.
