Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. salt
  • 1/4 c. instant coffee
  • 3/4 c. warm water

Method

  • Mix flour and salt in bowl, making a well in center.
  • Stir coffee into water in a cup.
  • Pour liquid into dry ingredients, stir thoroughly.
  • Add more flour or water, as needed.
  • Knead until smooth on lightly floured board, about 5 minutes.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Model with it (1/2 inch thick if you plan to bake it).
  • Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours, until hard, on foil-lined cookie sheet.
  • Varnish cooled project to seal.
