Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 lb. tofu
  • 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans or sunflower meal
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 1/2 c. soy milk
  • 1 1/4 tsp. sweet basil
  • 1/2 tsp. sage

Method

  • Saute in water and oil, celery and onions.
  • Combine with rest of ingredients.
  • Place in lightly oiled loaf pan and bake at 350°. Loaf may have to be covered with tinfoil near end of baking if top begins to get too brown.
  • Good served with gravy.
