Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. instant Kona coffee
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Grease 9 x 13 pan. In large bowl, cream the sugar and butter. Add eggs, coffee and vanilla. Mix well. Sift flour and baking soda. Mix into butter mixture. Stir chocolate and pecans. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. Makes 16 servings.
