Ingredients
- 1 c. fresh grated coconut
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- nutmeg
- margarine
- deep dish pie crust
Method
- Beat eggs until smooth.
- Add sugar and coconut.
- Mix well. Stir in vanilla.
- Pour into unbaked deep dish pie shell.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Place small pats of margarine on top of pie filling. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.
