Ingredients
- 5 c. flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. shortening
Method
- Mix
- flour
- and
- salt
- in
- mixing bowl; add shortening; blend well
- until
- coarse.
- Add water; mix well. Sprinkle on pastry sheet and roll thin.
- Cut in strips and place on top of favorite filling.
- Overlap
- each strip.
- When pie is covered, brush with melted butter
- and sprinkle
- with sugar. Bake at 350° until brown.
