Ingredients
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1 1/2 c. large walnut pieces
Method
- Heat oven to 400°.
- Combine eggs, sugar, flour, syrup, butter and vanilla; blend well.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Arrange walnuts on top.
- Bake in lower third of oven at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 350°.
- Bake an additional 35 to 45 minutes or until center appears set.
- Cool completely.
