Ingredients
- 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 TBS basil
- 1/2 TBS parsley
- 1/2 TBS oregano
- 1 8oz can of clams
- 1 15oz can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup sherry cooking wine
- 1 package whole wheat noodles
Method
- 1. Open the can of clams and drain the clam juice into a glass. Set juice aside.
- 2. Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, basil, parsley, and oregano.
- 3. Add clams.
- 4. Add tomato sauce and sherry cooking wine.
- 5. Simmer the sauce while cooking the noodles.
- 6. Add half of the clam juice to the sauce a few minutes before serving.
