Ingredients

  • 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 TBS basil
  • 1/2 TBS parsley
  • 1/2 TBS oregano
  • 1 8oz can of clams
  • 1 15oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup sherry cooking wine
  • 1 package whole wheat noodles

Method

  • 1. Open the can of clams and drain the clam juice into a glass. Set juice aside.
  • 2. Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, basil, parsley, and oregano.
  • 3. Add clams.
  • 4. Add tomato sauce and sherry cooking wine.
  • 5. Simmer the sauce while cooking the noodles.
  • 6. Add half of the clam juice to the sauce a few minutes before serving.
