Ingredients
- 1 can minced clams
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- milk
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. bread crumbs or crushed croutons
Method
- Drain clams.
- Add milk to clam juice to make 1 1/2 cups.
- Melt butter in medium saucepan; stir in flour.
- Cook until bubbly, stirring constantly.
- Stir in milk mixture.
- Cook until thickens; boil 1 minute more.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Beat in egg and clams.
