Ingredients
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. oil
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. raisins
- 3/4 c. nuts (if desired)
- 1 stick oleo, melted
- 1 c. sugar
- milk
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Method
- Mix flour,
- 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, oil and enough milk
- to
- make
- dough.
- Roll
- or
- pat
- out to 1/4-inch thickness. Spread
- with melted oleo. Sprinkle with remaining 2 teaspoons cinnamon,
- 1/2
- cup
- sugar,
- raisins
- and nuts. Roll dough jelly roll
- style.
- Cut in about 1-inch slices.
- Lay in oiled biscuit pan.
- Bake at
- 400°
- until
- done. Mix 1/2 cup powdered sugar and water and pour over biscuits as a glaze.
