Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. butter/margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • cinnamon and sugar, mixed (to desired flavor)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Cream butter and sugar well.
  • Beat in eggs.
  • Blend well.
  • Add sour cream and beat until smooth.
  • Add flour, baking powder and baking soda to mixture.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Beat slightly.
  • (Batter will be very thick.)
  • Spread 1/2 batter into well-greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  • Sprinkle 1/2 cinnamon-sugar mixture over batter.
  • Put 1/2 chips over that.
  • Spread remaining batter on top and repeat cinnamon and chip layers.
  • Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
