Ingredients

  • 16 c. quick oats
  • 2 c. sunflower seeds or nuts
  • 2 c. coconut
  • 2 c. wheat germ
  • 2 c. bran
  • 1 1/4 c. oil
  • 2 c. honey
  • 4 tsp. vanilla
  • raisins

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Place oats, sunflower seeds or nuts, coconut, wheat germ and bran in an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Mix all but raisins; bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • After baking, add raisins.
  • Excellent sprinkled on ice cream or frozen yogurt.
  • It's not just for breakfast at our house!
  • A good source of fiber.
  • Makes one gallon.
