- 2 tbsp. bacon fat
- 1 md. onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 14 oz. ketchup
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Method
- Melt bacon fat in a small pot and add the onions and garlic.
- Saute for 5 minutes at a medium heat.
- Blend in the rest of the ingredients and bring to a very low simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir every once in a while.
- Mop onto any meat or even seafood before and during grilling.
