Ingredients
- 2 doz. green mangoes
- 8 onions, chopped
- 6 c. sugar (white)
- 4 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 doz. red mangoes
- 4 tsp. salt (table)
- 1 1/2 pt. white vinegar
- 2 large bunches celery
Method
- Grind mangoes and onions.
- Add salt and cover with boiling water.
- Let stand 5 minutes then drain.
- Mix sugar, vinegar and mustard seed with mangoes and onions.
- Boil 3 minutes.
- Chop celery last.
- Stir in good.
- Put in hot jars and seal.
