Ingredients

  • 1 can cherry or strawberry pie filling
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 small pkg. orange jello
  • 1 or 2 bananas (sliced)
  • 1 c. pecans (optional)
  • 2 graham cracker crust pie shells

Method

  • Mix pie filling, pineapple and sugar in saucepan.
  • Add cornstarch and boil until thick.
  • Remove from heat and add jello, mixing well.
  • Let mixture completely cool, then add bananas and pecans.
  • Pour into unbaked graham cracker crust.
  • Makes two regular pies.
  • May top with cool whip.
