Ingredients
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. seedless raisins
Method
- Soften yeast in warm water (110°).
- Combine milk, shortening, sugar and salt.
- Cool to lukewarm.
- Add softened yeast and eggs. Beat well.
- Add flour, sifted with cinnamon and raisins.
- Mix to soft dough.
