Ingredients
- 6 egg whites
- 6 egg yolks
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 pt. light cream
- 1 pt. rich milk
- flavoring
- nutmeg
Method
- Beat egg whites until foamy and stiff and gradually beat in 1/2 cup of the sugar.
- Beat egg yolks until thick and beat in remaining sugar, cream and milk. Add flavoring (vanilla to taste or 1 cup of sherry).
- Lastly, fold in egg white mixture and serve in a punch bowl with nutmeg sprinkled over the top.
