Ingredients
- 12 slices bread (remove crusts, if desired)
- 3/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
- 2 c. diced, cooked ham
- 6 slightly beaten eggs
- 3 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- sesame seed
Method
- Place 6 slices of bread in bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Reserve 1/2 cup cheese, then sprinkle remainder over the bread.
- Add a layer of broccoli, then a layer of ham.
- Layer remaining bread on top. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over bread and all. Top with sesame seed. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.
