Ingredients
- 12 tomatoes
- 2 bell peppers
- 2 onions
- 1/2 c. hot peppers (1 c. if you desire very hot)
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
Method
- Put tomatoes in pan of boiling water, then take out immediately.
- Put tomatoes in a pan of cold water.
- Peelings come off easily.
- Discard peelings.
- Cut tomatoes in large chunks.
- Mix sugar, vinegar, chopped onions, chopped peppers and salt.
- Blend well. Mix with tomatoes in large pan.
- Cook on stove top for 2 1/2 hours over medium heat.
