Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 1/4 ounces chocolate cooking
  • 4 eggs separate yolks and whites
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 6 3/8 tablespoons walnuts chopped
  • 5 1/2 tablespoons hazelnuts chopped

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180C.
  • Melt the butter and the chocolate in the microwave and mix.
  • In another bowl, mix the egg yolks and the sugar and then add the flour.
  • Once it is smooth, add the chocolate mixture.
  • Separately, beat the egg whites until stiff. Add the previous mixture to the egg whites, being careful to keep the mixture light and fluffy. Add the chopped nuts.
  • Grease a baking pan and add flour to keep the brownies from sticking.
  • Pour the batter onto the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Introduce a toothpick into the brownies and if it comes out clean, the brownies are ready.
