Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Beat batter at medium speed about 2 minutes or until soft and creamy.
- Add sugar, beating at medium speed 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Beat until yellow disappears.
- Combine flour, baking soda and cocoa.
- Add to cream mixture.
- Stir in vanilla. Bake in tube pan at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
