- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 stick butter
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 6 Tbsp. whole milk
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Prepare any flavored packaged cake mix as package directs. Fill flat-bottomed wafer ice cream cones 2/3 full with cake mixture.
- Stand cones on a jelly-roll pan or cookie sheet.
- Bake according to package instructions for cupcakes; cool.
- Frost and decorate with colored sprinkles.
