- 1 cup flour
- 12 cup softened margarine or 12 cup butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 7 tablespoons flour
- 14 cup cocoa
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 6 beaten egg yolks
- 2 cups evaporated milk
- 2 cups water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Cool Whip
- shaved chocolate bar
Method
- Crust:.
- Mix crust ingredients together with mixer until crumbly and press into oblong baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minute or until lightly browned.
- Cool.
- Second layer:.
- Mix ingredients together and spread carefully on crust.
- Pudding:.
- Combine sugar, flour, cocoa and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Heat water and milk in a 6-quart pan over medium heat.
- Slowly stir in sugar mixture.
- Stir until completely mixed.
- Add a little of this warm mixture to egg yolks to temper; pour back into pan.
- Bring mixture to a boil stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add butter and vanilla and stir.
- Pour over second layer.
- Top with cool whip and shaved chocolate bar.
- Refrigerate 6-8 hours before serving.
