- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. instant butterscotch pudding mix
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
- 4 eggs
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch bits
- 1 envelope melted chocolate or 2 Tbsp. cocoa
Method
- In large bowl, blend first 5 ingredients.
- Beat 2 minutes at high speed.
- Pour 2 cups of batter in another bowl.
- Stir butterscotch bits into 1 mixture and chocolate in other.
- Pour 1/2 of light batter in greased tube pan, then pour chocolate batter. Repeat using the light; marble by folding with knife in cutting motion.
- Bake at 325° for 50 or 55 minutes.
- Ice as you like.
- I use sour cream icing.
