Ingredients
- 2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa (level tablespoons)
- 4 egg yolks, well beaten
- dash of salt
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 4 egg whites (for meringue)
Method
- Mix milk and all ingredients except vanilla and oleo.
- Cook over low to medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
- Pour in vanilla and put in oleo.
- Stir until melted.
- Pour into baked pie crust.
- Top with meringue or Cool Whip.
