Ingredients

  • 2 sq. baking chocolate
  • 2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp. light Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Melt chocolate in milk.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in sugar and Karo syrup.
  • Return to heat; stir until sugar dissolves.
  • Turn heat down and simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook to soft ball stage; remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla and peanut butter.
  • Turn into greased pan to harden.
