Ingredients
- 2 sq. baking chocolate
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp. light Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Melt chocolate in milk.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in sugar and Karo syrup.
- Return to heat; stir until sugar dissolves.
- Turn heat down and simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Cook to soft ball stage; remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla and peanut butter.
- Turn into greased pan to harden.
