Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Your Favourite Chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar (optional)
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornflour Or Cornstarch

Method

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, bring milk to a boil. Add chocolate, vanilla extract, sugar, and cornflour. Whisk until melted and smooth.
  • Continue whisking (make sure to stir in the corners of the pan to prevent the chocolate gathering there) until mixture reaches your desired thickness. Remove from the heat, and pour hot chocolate into your favourite mugs. Top with marshmallows, whipped cream, or grated chocolate.
