Ingredients

  • 3 c. Oreo cookie crumbs (20 crushed Oreo cookies)
  • 2/3 c. melted oleo
  • 1 1/2 bars German sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 can evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo

Method

  • Mix chocolate, sugar, evaporated milk and 1 tablespoon oleo together.
  • Cook until slightly thick.
  • Cook ahead.
  • Butter 2 x 13-inch pan well.
  • Mix cookie crumbs and melted oleo and press in pan.
  • Refrigerate for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Spread 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream on top of cookie mix.
  • Pour chocolate mix over ice cream.
  • Sprinkle with nuts.
  • Keep in freezer.
