Ingredients
- 3 lb. catfish
- 3 potatoes (medium)
- 1 large onion
- 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato juice or V-8
- 4 slices bacon
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. red cayenne pepper or 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce (optional)
Method
- Cut up bacon and fry in bottom of large pot.
- Add onion.
- Cook until tender.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer until potatoes are soft, 30 to 45 minutes.
